Doma

Creative Director, Aerial Choreographer, and Performer

In 1998, Pichón Baldinu directed the spectacular and groundbreaking show “Doma” from De La Guarda, a company he co-founded in 1992. Known for its physical action, audience interaction, and festive spirit. De La Guarda transformed the old Buenos Aires velodrome into a colossal entertainment venue.
With five performances that attracted
over 70,000 spectators, they orchestrated an unprecedented immersive spectacle mounted on a 50-meter tower crane.

This ambitious production not only required an orchestra of 27 musicians and 33 trained aerialists but also a massive infrastructure to support the event.. La grúa, sostenida por siete columnas de siete metros de profundidad, y la reconstrucción del velódromo para acomodar al público en tribunas y arena.

“Doma” was established as the largest and most complex immersive show created by De La Guarda.
